Handling rod with insulating barrier is designed for ensurement of switch-disconnecters against repeating switch-on during activities at distribution station with the nominal network voltage of up to 35 kV. Rod consists of head for gripping of barrier, isolating part and handle guard. Insulating rod is made of glass-fabre laminate. The thorn that is fastened on barrier servers for gripping of barrier to handling rod. Material of rod and barrier is suitable for its high electrical and mechanical resistance and stability. Set is determined for indoor use under normal climatic conditions. The handle is provided with protecting ring (hand guard). Set complies with ČSN 35 9701, IEC 832.
